I began designing spaces at a very early age, changing wall colors, fabricating window treatments, arranging and rearranging furniture and by the age of 14 had even designed a substantial renovation for my parents. At 17 I left New York to attend Endicott College where earned my degree in Interior Design. From there to Northeastern for my Business Degree. Over the years I put my education and talents to use designing (and redesigning) my homes and those of my friends and family.
In 2003, after a successful 25 year career in Sales & Marketing, I left the corporate world to pursue my life's dream as a professional Interior Designer. Hickory Lane Design.
I foundedHickory Lane Design and honestly it's been a joy ride ever since. One exciting project after another, everything from designs for builders flipping homes and stagings for realtors to creating beautiful and functional spaces for homeowners and businesses.
Hickory Lane Design has grown year after year from referrals from many satisfied customers. Thank you for helping me realize my dream.
When not immersed in design I enjoy time with my family which has recently grown to include two beautiful granddaughters and traveling with my wonderful husband.

Lauren is based in New York and has worked on a variety of projects across the tri-state area.
She completed her post-graduate studies at the New York School of Interior Design while living in New York City working in the fashion industry as a Product Manager.
With a love for great style in the home and fashion, she can appreciate both trending and traditional styles and has a particular flair with color and textiles.
After 10 years of small apartment living in the city, Lauren recently moved to Westchester where she resides with her husband and 2 young girls. There she has had the opportunity to take on her most challenging/rewarding project yet- their first home!
She enjoys staying current by following design blogs and reading magazines with a glass of wine at the end of a busy day
